When someone you love dies, the grief you feel is deeply personal.
At a time when everything can feel overwhelming, planning a funeral may seem like an enormous task. Yet you want to say goodbye in a way that truly honours their life and reflects who they were.
As a funeral celebrant, my role is to support you — gently, clearly and compassionately — in creating a ceremony that feels right for you and your family. I’ll help you shape a service with the tone, style and meaning that you wish to express.

How I support you
After an initial, no-obligation conversation, if you would like me to be your celebrant we will arrange a discovery meeting — either in person or online, whichever suits you best. This is a gentle, unhurried time for you, your family and close friends to share memories, stories and the details that shaped the life of the person you’ve lost.
Together, we will outline the shape of the service, including any music, readings or personal touches you wish to include. I can write — or help you write — a eulogy that honours their life and reflects their character with sincerity and warmth.
On the day of the funeral, I will arrive early to welcome those gathering to say their goodbyes. I will lead the ceremony with care and clarity, and support anyone who wishes to speak.
After the service, I will remain with you to offer support as you meet and receive mourners before you depart.
